If you feel this post is in anyway connected to the beautiful song by Lana Del Ray, you're highly mistaken. For, this is just another post where I'm going to rant about some topic. This time, the topic being: SUMMER.
Everyone is aware that Summer's begun when:
1. Every other kid in the colony is shouting out their friend's name to call him downstairs to play 'cause it is Vacation. (More so, cause there is plenty of time to enjoy only until results.)
2. The stock of watermelon in your fridge never seems to cease 'cause fresh stock is made available by your mom as frequently as possible.
3. Yoghurt or Curd is a must have each day.
4. Every other person around you is flaunting their glares irrespective whether the Ray Ban on it is fake or real.
5. Suddenly Mumbaikar women have taken up the cue from Puneri women to scarf up not showing a bit of "however made up" their face is.
6. When all of a sudden, the roadside Nimbu Pani wala turns your best friend a.k.a thirst savior.
7. When you switch your AC on at night after a long tiresome day at 18 degree Celsius along with the fan running at full speed. Albeit all this, you sweat and grumble in the middle of the night about Mumbai's humidity and summer.
8. When you feel like roaming around in your shorts and T-shirts. I mean the chicks. Well, the guys would prefer going around naked too! :P
9. When, if you search a women's handbag, even if she has no money, she'll surely be carrying a Sunscreen with her.
10. Finally, you know it is summer when you can rant about "It being so hot" to some random stranger in the bus or your auto rickshaw driver.
Feel bleh and all, this summer.
Hope we survive Summer'14 too cause YOLO. With too much ranting.
