As time passes by, gradually eroding away certain memories we have spent with few people which probably do not hold any meaning in our lives now, but until earlier, during “Those times”, they were the pillar of strength on which our lives used to move forth. Though, we never ask for certain things, ultimately we do end up severing bonds with certain people, knowingly or unknowingly ascertaining the differences that we never used to cite before. We may give this parting various names such as- Attaining maturity; Coming to realizations or “Probably it just had to happen the way it did…” But, why can’t we instead put in a moment of thought to analyze the mistakes committed and rather give a Second Chance?!
Many people like to believe that they are “Forgive and Forget” people, (Like
ME. :P), but don’t they know, that they are only openly lying to themselves as
well as people around them! No wonder, when we say, “A Child is a fresh work of
the Divine” because that divinity is exactly what is engraved in their
innocence. Like, when we are young, meagerly an year or two, we do not put a
lot of thought into the results of our actions and innocence plays quite a good
defender for us. But as we grow up, we grow more conscious about our surroundings,
about people’s remarks and their talks, thus we start paying more attention to
the faults of the other person and as to how many times the person has tried to
wrong us!
The optimism within us gets replaced with ever-growing pessimistic attitude and it provides an entry for pangs of envy, jealousy and overtly-egoistic attitude! L
Man lives in a Hellish-World, doesn’t he?!
Demons over-grow within him suppressing the inner angels. LUGUBRIOUS, indeed!
